Viton

High-performance seal made from Viton® fluoroelastomer, known for its exceptional chemical, heat, and oil resistance.

  • Temperature Resistance: Performs reliably from low temperatures up to 230°C (450°F) depending on the grade 
  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to oils, fuels, aliphatic hydrocarbons, concentrated acids, and many solvents 
  • Durability: Resistant to compression set, ozone, UV, atmospheric oxidation, fungus, and mold 

 

EPDM

A sealing components made from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber, known for their durability, flexibility, and resistance to environmental factors.

Composition and Properties

  • Temperature Range: EPDM gaskets can operate effectively in a wide temperature range, typically from -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 120°C), with some formulations capable of withstanding even higher temperatures 
  • Chemical Resistance: They are resistant to a variety of chemicals, including diluted acids and alkalis, but should not be used with petroleum oils or fuels 
  • Durability: EPDM gaskets are known for their long lifespan and ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions without degrading.

 

Nitrile

A sealing component made from nitrile rubber (NBR), designed to resist oils, fuels, and chemicals in industrial, automotive, and hydraulic application

  • Temperature tolerance: performs well in both low and high-temperature conditions typically -30°C to +120°C
  • Durability: resistant to wear, tear, and many chemicals, though not suitable for ozone or UV exposure 

 

C4324

A universal, non-asbestos gasket material made from aramid, glass, and carbon fibres bonded with NBR, suitable for a wide range of industrial sealing applications.
Composition and Structure

  • Temperature Resistance: Up to 280°C & Pressure Tolerance: Up to 40 bar (580 psi)
  • Chemical Compatibility: Resistant to oils, fuels, hydrocarbons, water, low-pressure steam, mild acids, and alkalis
  • Durability: Excellent compressibility, recovery, and resilience, ensuring tight, leak-free sealing
